Another thrilling season of The CW’sArrowis about to come to a close, with the Season 4 finale,Schismset to air on Wednesday, May 25. All season long, Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) and the good citizens of Star City have had to deal with the villainous Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough), and it’s all been leading to one massive showdown in next week’s finale. To get fans ready for this big event, The CW has released 12 new photos.
The brief synopsis for the finale teases that Oliver will team up with “a surprising force” to bring downDamien Darhk, but we don’t know who Oliver’s new ally may be. Given the amount of villains that circulate throughout the show, it could be anyone who stops by to help Olly out, including the heroes from CW’s other hit showsThe FlashandDC’s Legends of Tomorrow. Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait six more days to find out for sure, when the finale airs onThe CW.
The CW renewedArrowforSeason 5back in March, along with the rest of the network’s current lineup, which includesThe FlashandDC’s Legends of Tomorrow. The CW also picked upSupergirlfrom CBS for its second season, just a few months after the show crossed over withThe Flashfor an episode in March. Now thatSupergirlis on The CW, there will most likely be several more crossover opportunities withArrow,The FlashandDC’s Legends of Tomorrow.
As for theArrowfinale, there have been rumors that the show will finally address the growing rift between Oliver and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards), who is seen in one of the new photos with Curtis Holt (Echo Kellum), as they’re both seen filming something. There is also speculation that Thea (Willa Holland) may be tempted to join forces with Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman), but nothing has been confirmed quite yet. Merlyn has been trying to recruit Thea to abandon Team Arrow recently, so we’ll have to wait and see how that story line pans out.
