Rabbit Hole, written by David Lindsay-Abaire and directed by John Cameron Mitchell, is an emotional drama about a couple grieving the loss of their four-year-old son, scoring an 87% on Rotten Tomatoes. Becca (Nicole Kidman) and Howie (Aaron Eckhart) struggle to find meaning and direction in their relationship as they navigate the different paths they take in order to grieve. While Howie feels the need to stew in remembrance of his son, Becca takes a different approach when she begins meeting with Jason (Miles Teller), the young man involved in the accident that killed her son. Alongside Kidman, Teller plays an integral character in this film based on the 2007 Pulitzer Prize Winning play of the same name.

Based on a true story,Only The Braveis an action-packed drama about the Granite Mountain Hot Shots. This group of specialized firefighters became local heroes in their hometown of Prescott, Arizona by successfully detaining a number of life-threatening wildfires. Recently becoming a father, Brendan McDonough (Teller) joins the firefighting crew headed by Eric Marsh (Josh Brolin) as a way to provide a better life for his daughter. The crew trains hard to become some of the most elite firefighters in the country and, in doing so, become more like a family. All of their hard work and training become especially critical when they are asked to help detain a dangerous wildfire in Yarnell, Arizona. The film earned 87% on Rotten Tomatoes upon its release.
3The Spectacular Now (2013) — 91%
Teller plays teenager Sutter Keely in the coming-of-age love story,The Spectacular Now, directed by James Ponsoldt. Sutter’s life changes after he awakens from a heavy night of partying on the lawn of classmate Aimee Finicky (Shainlene Woodley). Whereas Sutter is more of a charming, extroverted party guy, Aimee is reserved and quiet. The two begin spending more time together and eventually fall in love over the course of the film.
