Back in 2016, after years of fighting with Fox to finally make it happen,Deadpoolhit theaters and took the world by surprise. The Merc with a Mouth opened a new door for the superhero genre showing that R-Rated movies could be even more popular and financially successful than G, PG or PG-13 productions.
AfterDeadpool, films likeLoganandJokerwere able to show an even darker side of the comic book adaptations, right when Marvel Studios was going through its best moment with stories that were meant to be told for the whole family. So, when Disney bought Fox and subsequently announced that Ryan Reynolds’ Wade Wilson would join the franchise led by Kevin Feige, fans started to worry about how Disney standards would affectDeadpool’s tone.

Reynolds, director Shawn Levy and even Feige himself have assured fans that the House of Mouse wouldn’t change the tone of the saga. And now one of the main stars of the film confirms it.
While speaking with ComicBook.com,Karan Soni, who plays Dopinder in the movie, share some important details, so fans can have some peace of mind about the final result they’ll see in theaters:
“I have begun working on that one, so I can say that it is the same as the other two. It’s like hard R. There’s a lot of that stuff. So it does not feel different.”

Ryan Reynolds Will Make Sure Deadpool Stays the Same
Soni also revealed that he’s pretty confident about how the movie will turn out thanks toRyan Reynolds’ commitment:
“I would just say it this way: Ryan [Reynolds] doesn’t need to do any of these movies unless he gets to do his version of it and he is such a star, and, I don’t need to say this, a creative genius. He’s taking this opportunity and really pushing everything and, definitely, he’s doing a lot of cool stuff. I feel very optimistic about it. Him and [director] Shawn [Levy], they work so well together, that I think it will be really exciting for people to see how they take their collaborations that they’ve done, now successfully twice, in this new version and play in this massive sandbox with a lot of stuff. It is very, very exciting. I will not underestimate Ryan Reynolds.”
Finally, the actor spoke about the few differences he found while working withDisneyinstead of Fox:
“The only thing that, for me, is different is that I have not gotten the script this time. The other two, we did get it, it’s a big difference, at least for me, the MCU part of it vs. the Fox/Marvel part of it. They’re so strict. So I’ve only seen glimpses of what I’m in. When I did some of the stuff, I saw some things that I didn’t know were in the thing. I think.”
Along Karan Soni and of course Ryan Reynolds, the movie will also featured the returns of Rob Delaney, Leslie Uggams, Morena Baccarin, Stefan Kapicic, Brianna Hildebrand, and Shiori Kutsuna.
Deadpool 3will also bring Hugh Jackman back as Wolverine and introduce Emma Corrin and Matthew Macfadyen to the MCU.
