Following Sunday night’sseries premiereofFear the Walking Dead, AMC has released a brief preview for the second episode,“So Close, Yet So Far”, airing Sunday, August 30 at 9 PM ET. This new video shows Travis (Cliff Curtis) and Madison (Kim Dickens) as they try to get out of Los Angeles, along with Madison’s children Nick (Frank Dillane) and Alicia (Alycia Debnam Carey). Meanwhile, Travis' son Chris (Lorenzo James Henrie) is right in the middle of all the zombie mayhem.
Thefirst episodeofFear the Walking Deadset a new cable ratings record on Sunday night, earning 5.0 national rating with 10.1 million viewers. The episode was the most-watched series premiere in cable history. In the Adults 18-49 demographic, thezombie seriesearned a 4.9 national rating with 6.3 million, along with a 5.3 national rating and 6.3 million in the Adults 25-54 demographic. TheTalking Deadpreview special scored a 2.2 national rating with 4.2 million viewers.
