AMC has released the fourth and final IMAX poster for itsStar WarsSundays campaign. This one features Finn andKylo Renas they face off in a lightsaber duel. The poster commemorates the epic final battle in the long-awaited sequel, which takes place outside the Star Killer base.
In October, as tickets were first going on pre-sale forStar Wars: The Force Awakens,AMC TheatresannouncedStar WarsSundays. Fans who attendIMAXscreenings at the theater chain have gotten to take home a different IMAX poster fromStar Wars: The Force Awakenseach Sunday between December 20 and January 10. This Sunday will bring this cool promotional incentive to a close.

In addition to this new poster, you can also check out the first three one-sheets released through AMC Theatres’Star WarsSundays initiative. The first poster features Rey and BB-8 as they walk towards the Jakku sunset. The second poster features Poe Dameron and his X-Wing, as he watches other Resistance soldiers gear up for battle. The third poster, released this past Sunday, features Captain Phasma as she leads her First Order Troops on a fiery mission. We’ll have to wait untilStar Wars: Episode VIIIhits in the summer of 2017 to see more of these posters released.
It was reported earlier today thatStar Wars: The Force Awakenshas taken in a worldwide box office haul of $1.536 billion, with $750.2 million domestic and $786.1 million from international markets. The tally was enough to propel the movie pastFurious 7($1.515 billion) andMarvel’s The Avengers($1.519 billion) to become the fourth-highest grossing movie of all time globally.Star Wars: The Force Awakensnow only trailsJurassic World($1.669 billion),Titanic($2.186 billion) andAvatar($2.788 billion) on the all-time worldwide box office charts.

Can anything stopStar Wars: The Force Awakens? At the moment, it seems not, but the weekend of January 15 could be its biggest test yet. The blockbuster will go up against high-profile new releases13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi, Universal’sRide Along 2and Lionsgate’s animated comedyNorm of the Northnext weekend, and it will be the first weakend that the sequel doesn’t have this AMC IMAX poster initiative working in its favor. Though, with one more still left to go this Sunday, its predicted thatStar Wars: The Force Awakenswill have no problem breaking the 4th week record.
