The powerful Shere Khan (Idris Elba) lays down the Law of the Jungle in a new clip from Disney’s highly-anticipatedThe Jungle Book, arriving in theaters April 15. The scene features the villainous Shere Khan who smells the presence of the “man-cub” Mowgli (Neel Sethi), who is being protected by Akela (Giancarlo Esposito).Shere Khanreminds Akela that “The Law of the Jungle” prohibits any man from living in this kingdom.
The clip debuted on a brand new website TheLawOfTheJungle.com, where readers can also explore other aspects of Rudyard Kipling’s book. Fans can click on Words to Live By, to learn about the bare necessities for a man cub to survive, and In the Face of Danger, to learn about the Red Flower and Shere Khan.
