George Clooney’s Batman from the 1997 movieBatman & Robinis getting a Funko Pop figure, and for better or for worse, the suit doesn’t include the controversial nipples many associate this version of The Dark Knight with. Though the classic DC movie has gotten a lot of flak over the years, many fans of the Caped Crusader still enjoy the movie and remember it with a fond nostalgia, and the Clooney Batman will look quite nice on your shelf next to collectors' other versions of Batman figures.

One of the most unique aspects of Clooney’s version of the Dark Knight inBatman & Robinwas how nipples were designed onto his Batsuit; Robin’s suit would have them as well.Director Joel Schumacherwould explain this decision years later, suggesting the idea was for the Batsuit to be more anatomically correct by using Greek statues as inspiration. At the time, he had no idea that including the nipples would become such a great source of controversy over the years, much less serving as perhaps the most talked about aspect of the movie over two decades later. Though it should be noted that the Batsuit Funko went with is Clooney’s costume from the third act of the movie, and it was the one Batsuit that didn’t include nipples on the actual costume. It’s possible that Funko went with this version simply because of that fact.
