The actor also offered a glimpse of their new addition to the on-screen ensemble.

“Tris is one of the cool kids. I’m a skateboarder. I spend a lot of time, you know, smoking weed at the skate park,” Lamanna told MovieWeb. “But Tris is also a peer tutor. So I think we have an interesting balance of, you know, very studious but also pretty chill. And, you know, this is another show where people are always just really going through it. Like, there’s not many chill moments onGinny & Georgia, and so I think it’s fun to play a character that brings a sort of groundedness and a settledness that I think, you know, inspires some of the other characters to, like, just chill out a little bit.”

Ginny and Georgia season three

Season Three of ‘Ginny & Georgia’ is Soapier — and More Bingeworthy — Than Ever

Character development stands out this season, but the series continues to struggle with balancing its shifting tones and extra story arcs.

Lamanna also took time to preview what to expect from the show’s third installment in general:

Nicolas Cage looking worried in Dream Scenario

“It’s really all of the, you know, sort of drama and intrigue and cliffhangers of the previous seasons that you’ve really gotten used to withGinny & Georgia. But there are some new, like, real left turns and big surprises, I think, that will — even still, when you’re expecting cliffhangers — I think it’ll still kind of have you on the edge of your seat.”

Noah Lamanna Recalls Hilarious Moment While Working With Nicolas Cage

Lamanna has kept busy with film projects in recent years as well, such asDream Scenario(2023) led by Nicolas Cage. The actor recounted a standout scene from the acclaimed indie film that made a lasting impact in a comedic and unexpected way.

“The students are all kind of in a gym, and [Nicolas is] walking into the gym, like, step-by-step. And we’re sort of, like emotionally preparing ourselves to engage with him,” Lamanna told MovieWeb. “He’s got like a bald cap and a kind of, like, fake belly, and he’s looking really sort of, you know, nervous and pathetic. And I really had this moment of being like, ‘Oh, buddy… this is really hard for you!’ This is a real moment of feeling really deeply empathetic and kind of bad for Nic Cage. And it was a funny moment. I was like, ‘Oh, this is not an emotion that I ever, like, anticipated feeling in real life,’ is seeing Nicolas Cage in a room and being like, ‘Oh, buddy, things are going really hard for you, aren’t they?’ Like, ‘It’ll be OK!’ So it was a funny thing to experience.”
