It is the first film in history to win an Academy Award for Best Makeup. The recognition was given to makeup effects master Rick Baker, who accomplisheda transformation sequencethat’s still astounding to this day.

Cinespia’s Screenings Should Be on Your Bucket List If You’re a Film Buff

Despite being a bit pricey (tickets for the double feature cost more than $40!), you may bring your own food and drinks. Also, attending a show at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery is one of those things you must do if you’re a film buff visiting Los Angeles. The city has a film aura that’s hard to describe, but the experience of attending a Cinespia show encompasses it.

It’s hundreds of fans gathering to see their favorite films the way some of them were seen decades ago. Also, if you’re a horror fan, nothing sounds more appropriate than watching your favorite scary movie in a cemetery, right?
