Earlier today, bothJosh Hutcherson(Peeta Mellark) andLiam Hemsworthshared new photos of their characters on their social media platforms, withJosh Hutchersonsharing the same cryptic message asJennifer Lawrence, “6.9.15 #MockingjayPart2 #Unite.” While we don’t have any confirmation what will happen on June 9, it seems likely that this is when the first trailer will debut.
Panem is engaged in a full scale war, as Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) finally confronts President Snow (Donald Sutherland) in what promises to be the ultimate showdown. Gale (Liam Hemsworth), Finnick (Sam Claflin), and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) join Katniss as she sets off on a mission with the unit from District 13. They must all risk their lives to assassinate President Snow, stoping his reign of terror once and for all. The maniacal ruler has become increasingly obsessed with destroying Katniss himself.
