Last week, the cast and crew ofIndependence Day: Resurgenceheld a live streaming Q&A session straight from the set in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where the official title was revealed and fans got their first look at some of the vehicles being used in theaction sequel. With tomorrow marking America’s annual Independence Day holiday,Ain’t It Cool Newsreports that fans who seeTerminator Genisyswill be treated to the first teaser trailer forIndependence Day: Resurgence. The trailer will only be shown on July 4, and there is also a “good chance” that this first look at the sequel will be online later today.
Production has only been under way for a few weeks, so it seems unlikely that any actual footage will be shown in this teaser. As for what will be shown, that is unclear. But we already saw the officialIndependence Day: Resurgencelogo in a motion poster that was released during last week’s Q&A. The motion poster/logo reveal was 25 seconds long, but another report reveals that this teaser will be “around 35 seconds long,” so it’s possible that they could have just elongated the previous video and added some new graphics and/or text.
