Listen up, horror fans. Cause this is cool. The stars ofITandIt Followsare so tired of having their movies confused that they’ve decided to team up and do something about it. Yes, that’s right. The guy who plays Pennywise is hooking up with that girl who couldn’t escape her latest sexual encounter in a new movie calledVillains.

Star Thrower Entertainment, who recently developed and executive produced Steven Spielberg’sThe Post, andThe Realm, a subsidiary of BRON, are announcingBill SkarsgardandMaika Monroeto star in Dan Berk and Robert Olsen’sVillains. Tim and Trevor White are producing for Star Thrower, alongside Allan Mandelbaum, and Garrick Dion for The Realm. Endeavor Content is handling North American rights.

The Realm, a subsidiary of BRON, and Tim and Trevor White’s Star Thrower Entertainment announced today that this match made in heaven will star in their upcoming darkly comedic thriller, which Dan Berk and Robert Olsen will direct. Written by Berk and Olsen, theVillainsscript was on the2016 Black List, and follows a pair of amateur criminals who, after breaking into a suburban home, stumble upon adark secretand two sadistic homeowners who will do anything to keep it from getting out.

Skarsgard is best known for his role as the infamousPennywisein Warner Bros.' re-adaptation of Stephen King’sIt; he most recently starred in the Sundance breakthroughAssassination Nationdirected by Sam Levinson, and produced by BRON, which was acquired by NEON and AGBO.  Monroe starred in David Robert Mitchell’sIt Follows; Elijah Bynum’sHot Summer Nightsalongside Timothée Chalamet;The Tribes of Palos Verdesalongside Jennifer Garner; and will next be seen inThe Widowalongside Chloë Grace Moretz and Isabelle Huppert.

Berk and Olsen previously wrote, produced and directedBodyfor Oscilloscope Laboratories, and directedThe Stakelander, a sequel to Jim Mickle’sStake Land. The Realm’s latest film,Prospect, premieres this month at the SXSW Film Festival.  Their parent company, BRON, co-produced Sam Levinson’sAssassination Nationand is also coming off the Dan Gilroy-directedRoman J. Israel Esqstarring Denzel Washington, who received an Oscar nomination for his performance.

BRON is in post-production on the Jason Reitman-directed Hugh Jackman-starrerThe Front Runner, as well as the Gideon Raff-directedThe Red Sea Diving Resortstarring Chris Evans. Next month, Focus is releasing Jason Reitman’s Tully, starring Charlize Theron, a co-production with BRON.
