Hot on the heels of Academy Award nominated dramaI, Tonya,Margot Robbieis back for a completely different role inTerminalthat would give Harley Quinn the creeps. A teaser trailer was released last week that featured Robbie’s femme fatale character walking through a landscape that looks likeBlade Runner 2049envisioned as a Quentin Tarantino movie. Not much info was given with the teaser forTerminal, but the first full-length trailer offers a lot more substance, and it looks pretty cool.

Margot Robbie has found her nicheplaying unhinged charactersand inTerminal, she has an “unquenchable bloodlust for darkness.” The film, which also stars Simon Pegg, Mike Myers, Max Irons, Dexter Fletcher, has an even darker vibe than the teaser trailer led on with some elements of dark humor as well. Vaughn Stein wrote the screenplay and is making his directorial feature debut with the project. The official synopsis forTerminalreads as follows.

Throughout theTerminaltrailer, we hear the ominous voice of a character named Mr. Franklin. Franklin is offering a lot of money to have someone killed. It’s not immediately clear how Margot Robbie fits into the storyline, but it’s clear that she has her own thing going right from the start. She’s definitely there to stir things up between the characters, which is intriguing, especially since we see so many different looks for her.

Another aspect of Margot Robbie’s character that is evident straight away from theTerminaltrailer is that she has ascrew loose, which is as previously mentioned, is something that Robbie has excelled at over the years. There’s even a few hints that her character might have more than one personality as seen by her different looks and even voices that she uses. Sometimes she comes across as all together while other scenes show someone who is on the brink of madness.

The mystery,Terminal, opens up on May 11th. Viewers will have to wait until then to start tounravel the secrets of the film.
