Sad news has come in asJoe Turkelhas passed away. The character actor, whose work includesPaths of Glory,The Shining, andBlade Runner, died peacefully at St. John’s Hospital in Santa Monica, California, with sons Craig and Robert by his side. Turkel passed away on Monday, June 27, though his death has just been announced to the public. He was 94 years old. “Friends and neighbors knew Joe as fun and easy to get along with,” a statement from the family reads....

KISS, one of the biggest bands in the history of rock music, is about to get the biopic treatment. Netflix has won a bidding war for the rights to the project, which is set to be titledShout It Out Loud. Both Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, founding members of the legendary group, are set to produce the project and will be closely associated with it. Not that KISS needs any help gaining recognition, but this could once again catapult them into the spotlight in a big way....

The latest set photos fromBad Boys for Lifefeatures Will Smith in action. Filming for the long-awaited sequel finally started earlier this week. Last week, the cast and crew got together for some rehearsal and pre-production work, which involved watching the first two installments with new directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah. Leaked video from the rehearsals found their way online and showed the cast and crew in good spirits as they prepared for this week’s shoot....

Neil Simonhas sadly passed away at the age of 91. The prolific writer was nominated for four Oscars and won three Tony Awards. He is perhaps best known for such legendary works asThe Odd Couple,Barefoot in the Park,Promises, Promises,The Goodbye GirlandLost in Yonkers. He will be long remembered for setting a new tone in theatrical comedy, and was a pioneer of the stage and screen. Simon has more combined Oscar and Tony nominations than any other writer in history....

It’s been a long time sinceTina FeyandSteve Carellshared the screen together, but the two comedy legends have finally been reunited inThe Four Seasons,Netflix’s new comedy miniseries that just debuted with a perfect Rotten Tomatoes score. Based on the 1981 film and the 1984 series of the same name, this new adaptation features an all-star cast that also includes Will Forte, Colman Domingo, Alan Alda, and Kerri Kenney-Silver. All eight episodes ofThe Four Seasonshit Netflix today, July 20, 2025, and so far, everyone seems to be loving the hit comedy that has a 100% score from critics on Rotten Tomatoes....
