The Mandalorian, the first ever live-actionStar WarsTV series, won’t be a binge-watching affair. Disney and Lucasfilm recently descended uponStar WarsCelebration in Chicago to finally pull the curtain back on their mysterious show. We learned an awful lot about the bounty hunter-heavy shenanigans coming our way later this year. But the panel didn’t specify how exactly the show is going to be released. Now we have word that it’s not going to go the Netflix route....

An over-the-top violent tale of plastic surgery gone disgustingly array,Yummyexudes intentional camp and shows glimpses of old Italian flare - an ambitious combination that just almost works. Pair that style with sporadic gross-out comedy and a few moments of dry wit and you’ve got a fun enough film for fans of fast-paced butchery....

Just days before the premiere ofX-Men ’97, Marvel Studios were reported to have“fired” showrunnerBeau DeMayo, and now Marvel’s Head of Animation Brad Winderbaum has elaborated on the surprising turn of events…sort of. DeMayo had been lined up for a number of press interviews to promote the new Disney+ series, and was already said to be working on ideas for the third season of the show. For this reason alone, the news of his departure at such a pivotal moment came as a shock to many fans online....

American Horror Storyseason 10 could see a big storyline shift. Series creator Ryan Murphy revealed the news in a recent interview. Fans of the hit AMC horror anthology series have been teased quite a bit over the past few months with a beach setting, though no other storyline details have been revealed by Murphy. Yesterday, The CW posted an intriguing new videothat featured the heroes and villains of bothArrowandThe Flashsquaring off in a “superhero fight club.” The network has debuted three posters, featuring Arrow (Stephen Amell), Arsenal (Colton Haynes) and The Flash (Grant Gustin) inside the massive steel cage from yesterday’s video. It isn’t expected that this “superhero fight club” will be featured on any show, but it’s possible that this unique arena could be used in theArrow / Flash Spinoffthat will feature characters from both hit programs....

Next year’s live action adaptation of the beloved animated series,Avatar: The Last Airbender, has been made without the inclusion of original creators Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko. Now, the man in charge of the live action series, Albert Kim, has opened up about the pressures that came with going it alone, admitting it “absolutely” felt daunting when the creators decided not to be involved in theNetflixseries. Speaking withEW, Kim says he felt “intimidated” after DiMartino and Konietzko walked away from the adaptation after two years of development....

After revealing on social media he’d been diagnosed with Covid-19, Emmy-winning actorBryan Cranstonis asking for his fans to continue with the necessary safety measures to help keep all of us healthy.
