Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is officially under way with last weekend’s debut ofCaptain America: Civil War. Golden Globe-nominated filmmaker Chloé Zhao (Nomadland) is teaming up with Universal Pictures to develop a newDraculamovie with a sci-fi, Western twist. Zhao will be very heavily involved with the project, as she’ll be directing, writing, and producing the movie through her production company, Highwayman. The news comes just one day after Zhao made history as the first Asian to receive a Golden Globe nomination forNomadland. “Chloé’s singular lens shines a light on stories of the overlooked and misunderstood,” Universal Pictures president Peter Cramer said in a statement....
