In just a few short hours, fans across the country will finally be able to seeDoctor Strangeon the big screen during Thursday preview screenings, in what is shaping up to be a huge opening weekend. While doing press for the movie, directorScott Derricksonteased a major deleted scene that was filmed, but didn’t make the final cut. The director says that this scene was taken directly from the comics, which he hopes will be included on the Blu-ray and DVD....

One of the buzziest films this awards season,EmiliaPérezis set to drop on Netflix on November 13. Directed by Jacques Audiard, itis a French-made musical crime film following the titular Emilia (played by Karla Sofía Gascón), a cartel kingpin who hires a lawyer (Zoe Saldaña) to help her transition to being the woman she has always wanted to be and start a new life. Chloé Zhao is hopeful that other countries will not censor her upcoming Marvel Studios' film,Eternals, because of the decision to include an openly gay hero, Brian Tyree Henry’s Phastos, who is married to an unnamed character, played by Haaz Sleiman. In a recent interview with IndieWire, the Marvel Cinematic Universe director addressed concerns about the precedent of gay moments being removed or banned in other countries. Zhao said she hoped the film won’t be banned anywhere in the global market, and she expressed her “desire” that theaters show the film intact so that audiences can have the full experience when it premieres on November 5th, 2021....

A few months ago, before production started in New Orleans onWolverine 3, a casting call was sent out that many fans thought was for the popular mutantX-23. That casting call was seeking Caucasian, Hispanic and Asian women over the age of 21, who are between 4'0-4'11 in height, size 0-4, with dark brown hair for stand-in roles. We never got any confirmation if this character was cast yet, but today we have new photos from the set which may just have our first look at X-23 in thisR-ratedmovie....
