Billy on the Streetis coming back. Billy Eichner parted ways with TruTv after a couple of seasons and decided to focus on some other projects, abandoning his acclaimed series, in which, the host and various celebrity guests ask people on the streets of New York City questions about pop culture. Now, Eichner has partnered with Lyft and Funny or Die to resurrectBilly on the Streetas a web series. The series, which has always been produced by Funny or Die, was formally a more traditional half-hour series, originally airing on Fuse TV from 2011 to 201 before making its way to TruTV for two seasons from 2015 to 2017....

Edd Byrnes, a veteran actor best known for his role as television host Vince Fontaine in the musicalGreaseand as Kookie in the classic TV series77 Sunset Strip, has died. Reportedly, Byrnes passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday at his home in Santa Monica. According to the report, Byrnes died of “natural causes,” though no additional information or cause of death has yet been revealed. He was 87 years old. A native New Yorker, Byrnes was born Edward Byrne Breitenberger in 1932....
