Tenacious D is coming back in a big way this fall. The greatest band in the world is releasing a brand new web series and album, both titledPost-Apocalypto. The web series, set to premiere on YouTube, will consist of six episodes in total and will all feature new songs from the upcoming album. The band has released a teaser for the web series as well, which is done in the same style as a recent tour announcement video Tenacious D released earlier this year....

Following the firstMarvel’s Spider-Man trailerthat debuted in January, Marvel and Disney XD have unveiled the first clip and poster for this highly-anticipated animated series. As of now, the cable network has not announced a specific premiere date, or revealed any members of the voice cast, but that may happen sooner rather than later. If that wasn’t enough, we also have the first poster, which features both sides of Peter Parker’s double life as an ordinary kid and a powerful superhero....

Star Warsfans have started a petition to immortalize Ewan McGregor in his home country of S Scotland. Specifically, they want to see a statue erected depicting McGregor as Obi-Wan Kenobi from the prequel trilogy. As an added twist, the petition is calling to have the statue built on the high ground in a fitting reference toRevenge of the Sith. The petition, which is live now on Change.org, was started by Connor Heggie....
