Disney has halted the manufacturing and selling ofFrozenBlu-rays in Japan following Pierre Taki’s drug bust from last week. Taki is a member of the pop group Denki Groove and the voice of Olaf in the Japanese-language versions of the popular Disney animated movie. Last week, he was arrested after admitting to using a little bit of cocaine near Tokyo after an anonymous tip was provided to law enforcement. If convicted, Taki, could spend up to seven years in prison....

After decades of rumor, speculation, and false-starts, a sequel toGladiatoris now coming this year, and it sounds like it will have been well worth the wait. According toDeadline, returning director Ridley Scott has caught theGladiatorlightning in a bottle all over again, with studio executives having now seen early footage from the swords-and-sandals sequel and being blown away. “Scott recently wrapped production on the sequel to his smash hit Gladiator and, according to sources, early footage has blown execs away,” the report claims....

Monty Hall was the original host for one of TV’s most beloved gameshows,Let’s Make a Deal, from 1963 to 1986 and then briefly again in 1991. The Los Angeles Times reports that the cheerful and friendly host passed away on Saturday morning after suffering a heart attack back in June at the age of 96. Hall had the heart attack shortly after his wife of 70 years passed away and his health had been on the decline ever since....
