Last night, AMC airedThe Walking DeadSeason 7 finale,The First Day of the Rest of You Lives, which featured one pivotal death, and set up the show for what could be an action-packed Season 8. While discussing the season finale, showrunnerScott M. Gimplerevealed that there was a scene towards the end of the episode that ultimately was cut from the broadcast version of the show, but one that fans will likely see on the deleted scenes on Blu-ray and DVD....

As one of the must-watch movies of the festive season, it is hard to believe thatThe Nightmare Before Christmaswas considered something of a failure on its original release. With the release of thenew live-action Dumbo movienow less than a year away, Disney has released the official synopsis of their next reboot afterChristopher Robin. Unlike the original movie, however, it would appear that the protagonist this time around is a human played by Colin Farrell rather than Dumbo himself. The reboot, which is now in its post-production stages, isdirected by the visionary storyteller Tim Burton. It will also include a number of well known actors, including Colin Farrell, Danny Devito, Eva Green, Alan Arkin, and Michael Keaton, all of whom are playing human characters rather than voicing animals as some people predicted....

The classic buddy comedy movieTurner and Hoochis getting a revival, as a TV series adaptation is in early development at Disney+. Released in 1989, the original starred Tom Hanks as a detective who partners up with a canine to fight crime. As part of a deal with 20th Century Fox TV, Matt Nix (The Gifted) has signed on to write and executive produce the series. Because the series is still in its very early stages, there aren’t any additional details on the project at this time....

With theSeason 6premiere ofThe Walking Deadjust around the corner,AMChas released five new photos featuring some of your favorite characters, Rick (Andrew Lincoln), Daryl (Norman Reedus), Carol (Melissa Suzanne McBride), Michonne (Danai Gurira) and Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green). Each one of these photos features the characters with their various weapons, as they get ready to battle the zombies outside of the Alexandria walls. The Walking Dead Season 6picks up immediately following the events of last spring’s finale when Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) executed Alexandrian Pete (Corey Brill) in front of a shocked town hall meeting, and the returning Morgan (Lennie James)....

You would think that watching six seasons ofOutlanderwould prepare you for the rollercoaster that is the hit series’ Season 7. Many names have been in the running for a remake ofLord of the Fliesover the years.Taika Waititiwanted it to be directed by a Polynesian filmmaker. TheSuspiriaremake directorLuca Guadagninowas in talks at one point to produce the remake as well. However, no projects have materialized so far. This is a shame since many people are familiar with the story because of its popularity as a reading book in schools. There is an untapped audience that has a familiarity with the novel that would make the theme curious to see a remake....

WhenX-Men: Days of Future Pasthit theaters in 2014, fans were treated to an early glimpse of what to expect in this month’sX-Men: Apocalypse, with a post-credit scene featuring a young En Sabbah Nur assembling the pyramids in Egypt with his telekinetic powers. Of course, this young mutant, the first in history, would go on to become the mighty and powerful Apocalypse (Oscar Isaac), who threatens to wipe out humanity in the final installment of 20th Century Fox’sX-Men prequel trilogy....
