The ongoing conundrum ofPaul Rudd’s inability to age is one that has now been a thing of pop culture for over two decades. While the 53-year-old is ready to once again take on the role of Scott Lang, aka Ant-Man, in the MCU’s Phase 5 starter movieAnt-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, the actor discussed his ever-youthful appearance withMen’s Healthmagazine and explained his very simple and completely free secret. Rudd said:

“People ask me, ‘Can you send me your meal plan? How many times a week do you work out? Do you drink? Do you eat carbs? Do you have a cheat day?’ The most important part of training is sleep.”

Having been votedPeople’s Sexiest Man Alive in 2021, Rudd has obviously been doing something right, so why would anyone not want to follow his simple advice? As far as the actor is concerned, those people who have less sleep to get up and train early really are “doing themselves a disservice.” However, Rudd did admit that since becoming the MCU’s Ant-Man, he now does cardio before having anything to eat, along with a cup of coffee, something he would never have taken part in before his MCU days.

Paul Rudd Is Still Surprised at His Marvel Superhero Status

Among some of the muscle-bound mighty men and women of Marvel and DC Comics, Paul Rudd never envisioned himself as the type of person who would ever find himself being part of the biggest superhero franchise in the world. He continued:

“I never really thought I was the type of actor that they would offer any of those parts to,” he said. “But when this idea came around, I was excited about doing something that was so out of left field, and I knew that if it was announced that I was going to be joining a superhero franchise, most people would say, What the f—? I’ve learned so much about how my body reacts to foods, how it reacts to exercise, and where I’m happiest and how much it affects me mentally. . . . If I’m in this suit, running around playing a character who’s supposed to be a superhero, I just feel better. And I feel less like an impostor.”

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumaniais Rudd’s third solo movie as Scott Lang, and while the film finds him on a high after helping save the world from Thanos, it isn’t long before trouble comes knocking as Lang becomes the first of the Avengers to come face to face with Kang the Conqueror. While the Quantum Realm will be the primary setting for the movie, it is clear that Kang’s presence will soon be felt across the MCU and, indeed, the wider multiverse, and whether Ant-Man will survive his encounter or become the first of many casualties to come is currently unclear. However, one thing for sure is that having been instrumental in saving the world in his last appearance, Scott Lang is about to play a role in instigating the next big threat to the Marvel Universe.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumaniais released on Feb. 17.
