In addition to starring in HBO’s popular television adaptation ofThe Last of Us,Pedro Pascalis also a part of theStar Warsuniverse, playing the title character in the popular Disney + seriesThe Mandalorian.As reported byEntertainment Weekly, Pascal recently spoke with EW for their weeklyStar WarspodcastDagobah Dispatch. During the interview, theGame of Thronesactor was asked whichday on the set of theStar Warsseries was his favorite.

Pascal said, “There’s so many days to pick from. Because when you think about the visual experience that audiences have when they watch the show, it’s hard to imagine that you would get such a clear impression of how sophisticated those visuals are on the day when you’re shooting it.”

Still, the actor eventually narrowed down his picks and chose a specific day that he found particularly memorable.

Pascal stated, “The first episode of season 2, when we meet this really amazingBlade Runner-esque urban environment. I can’t think of a time inStar Warswhere you felt like you were in a real city.”

The place Pascal is referring to is from the first scene of “Chapter 9: The Marshal,” where Din goes to an industrial city searching for Gor Koresh, an Abyssin gangster.

TheNarcosactor continued, “We have this immaculate set that’s built and surrounded by the volume. Which creates an infinite sort of visual experience as far as skies, planets, and landscapes are concerned, and space and ships and all kinds of things. But the practical set was the most immaculate, down to it being graffitied and decorated. Every inch of it was designed. So to step onto that set…”

However, that wasn’t the only setting that stood out to Pascal. The actor also mentioned theunique landscape fromThe Mandalorian’s"Chapter 10: The Passenger."

“The snow-capped world was also completely detailed. It just felt like you were stepping onto these highly sophisticated amusement park rides, in a way — with very little being left to the imagination because of how incredible the design work is from all the departments.”

In the fullDagobah Dispatchinterview with Pascal, the star also chatted about Grogu and Ellie fromThe Last of Usand revealed which of his costars he thinks could take care of Grogu.
