The brand-new reality-based competition,Physical 100, has proven to be ratings gold forNetflix. According to a recent report byShort List, the show is currently the number one trending program on Netflix worldwide.

Emily in Paris

Netflix describes the show: “One hundred contestants in top physical shape compete in a series of grueling challenges to claim the honor — and cash reward — as the last one standing. The cash reward amounts to 300 million Korean won. In each episode, the contestants are weeded down to a select few as they participate in grueling and nail-biting competitions.” The show has been linked to Netflix’s mega-hit dramaSquid Game, which told the fictional story of financially strapped participants who put their lives in danger by participating in a series of lethal child-like games to win a cash reward of 45.6 billion won.

Physical 100has received rave reviews so far and has made more prominent stars out of its already well-known South Korean-based cast. Some of the most notable contestants include former NexflixSingle’s Infernocast member Cha Hyun-Seung, world-renowned MMA fighter Choo Sung-Hoon, female wrestler Jang Eun-Sil, 2012 Olympic Gold Medalist and Gymnast Yang Hak-Seon, and 2018 Olympic Gold medalist and skeleton racer Yun Sung-Bin also known as Iron Bin which is a play on the Marvel hero Iron Man.

Physical 100is currently airing on Netflix, with episode 4 scheduled to air on Feb. 17.

Netflix: What We Know About Emily in Paris Season 4

Another hit Netflix show is theromantic dramaEmily in Paris.

Emily in Parisis currently in its third season on Netflix. Actress Lilly Collins plays the title role. In season one of the series, audiences witness Emily leave her hometown of Chicago, Illinois, and relocate to Paris, France, to pursue a position as a marketing executive for the French firm Savoir. After landing her dream job, the series focuses on Emily as she navigates between her professional and personal life as a young woman in a foreign city.

In season two, Emily’s life becomes more complex when she involves herself with not one but two men. Her first French-based love interest is her apartment neighbor Gabriel who just so happens to be the boyfriend of her best friend, Camille. Emily’s second love interest, Alfie, is a British banker whom she meets during one of her French class lessons. The second season ends with Emily torn between Gabriel and Alfie, her job at Savior, and a new job offer from her former boss.

Season 3 opens with Emily unable to decide between Sylvie, her new tough rival, and Madeline, her former boss. Even though she decides on Sylvie, she finds it hard to leave Madeline, who is unhappy and pregnant, as she tries to navigate life in a foreign country by herself.

As Netflix has already ordered season 4 ofEmily in Paris, fans of the show are anxious to know details about the upcoming season, most notably the release date. According toTV Guide: Netflix has yet to announce a release date for Season 4, although “Varietyreported back in September that the fourth installment was already in production concurrently with Season 3. The first season premiered in October 2020, with the second and third installments arriving in December of the subsequent years. Given this pattern, Netflix might choose to release the fourth installment around Christmas 2023.”
