DC’s Legends of Tomorrowis shaping up to be the biggest superhero TV show of all time. And it’s about to get a little bit bigger. A new report claims thatArrowstarMatthew Nableis set to return, and will reprise his fan-favorite role as Ra’s al Ghul. He’ll show up in the as yet untitled Episode 9 when the series premieres early next year.

At this time, it isn’t known if Ra’s has somehow survived his apparent death at the end ofArrow Season 3. His appearance may also be the result of time travel. DC’s Legends of Tomorrow is bringing together quite a few characters from both The CW’sArrowandThe Flash, so it should come as no surprise that they would attempt to resurrect one of the more popular faces to have appeared in recent years.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow cast of characters includeFirestorm, Jax Jackson (Franz Drameh), Firestorm’s other half, Dr. Martin Stein (Victor Garber), Atom (Brandon Routh), Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill), Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller), Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell), White Canary (Caity Lotz), Hawkman (Falk Hentschel) and Hawkgirl (Ciara Renee). InDC’s Legends of Tomorrow, when heroes alone are not enough, the world needs legends. Having seen the future, one he will desperately try to prevent from happening, time-traveling rogueRip Hunteris tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat - one in which not only the planet is at stake, but all of time itself. Can this ragtag team defeat an immortal threat unlike anything they have ever known?

These heroes will be going up against the immortalVandal Savage(Casper Crump), who fans first got to see in theArrowandThe Flashcrossover event that aired earlier this month. We reported in September thatStephanie Corneliussenhas signed on to play theDC Comicscharacter Valentina Vostok, a.k.a. Negative Woman, and another report from October revealed that the show is casting for Connor Hawke. In theArrowcomic books, Connor Hawke is Oliver Queen’s son, although that aspect of the comics will be discarded for the TV version.

Last week,Robbie Amellteased that he could be returning to either The Flash orDC’s Legends of Tomorrow, after posting cryptic photos with his co-starVictor Garberand his Firestorm suit. Since theArrowandThe Flashcrossover introduced Vandal Savage, it is believed there will be plenty of opportunities for both shows to cross over withDC’s Legends of Tomorrow. In fact,Neal McDonough, who plays currentArrowvillain Damien Darhk, revealed that he will be appearing in bothThe FlashandDC’s Legends of Tomorrow. WhenDC’s Legends of Tomorrowdebuts next month, fans will have three nights in a row of superhero action, withThe Flashairing Tuesday nights,Arrowon Wednesday nights and this new series on Thursday nights, all at 8 PM ET.DC’s Legends of Tomorrowwill kick off on January 21 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
