Prime Video’s hit action series,Reacher, has already been teased as its"best season yet"by star,Alan Ritchson. The popular character — previously played by none other thanTom Cruisehimself — has been a mainstay in film and television since the first adaptation of author Lee Child’s creation back in 2012. But it is perhaps the TV series that gets the story of the toughest army man the United States has ever seen; so much so that the series is even gettingits own spinoff. And in its upcoming fourth season, the cast is getting as metaphorically jacked as its star.
According to a press release sent out by the Amazon streaming channel, the fourth season of the action-packed drama series is jam-packed with actors you know and love. Based on the 13th book in Lee Child’s hit global novel series,Gone Tomorrow, the season’s official logline is as follows: “When a chance encounter with a distraught stranger on a train goes horribly wrong, Jack Reacher is drawn into a complex and deadly game that pits him against ruthless foes from the highest echelons of power.”

Fans of Child’s novels know that the 13th book on which this season is based will make Reacher question everything he knows.Gone Tomorrowtakes place in New York City, after Reacher’s proverbial spidey senses are triggered by one of his fellow, late-night subway-riding passengers. Believing one of the riders to be behaving like a suicide bomber, Reacher tries to reason with her, only for her to shoot herself. Confused as to why she killed herself — and how he got it so wrong — Jack Reacher then sets out to find the answer, and falls into a gripping plot in the process.
