There has been speculation that the next trailer forStar Wars: The Force Awakenswill debut at the semi-annualStar WarsCelebration in Anaheim, California next month, although that has yet to be confirmed. However, Electronic Arts announced today that their upcoming video gameStar Wars: Battlefront will debut atStar WarsCelebration, which runs from April 16 to April 19. “We’re thrilled to share that Star Wars Battlefront will be taking part in Star Wars Celebration next month in Anaheim, CA from April 16-19. We could not think of a better or more appropriate place to debut the game officially for the first time than the premier event that celebrates the Star Wars universe and the legions of fans who have fallen in love with it.”
Unfortunately, no details about this “debut” were given. It isn’t known if fans will be able to actually play this game for the first time atStar WarsCelebration, or if gameplay footage will be shown. EA did say that more details will be announced in the coming weeks, so we’ll be sure to keep you posted. EA has not announced whenStar Wars: Battlefront will be released, but it will likely debut later this year, to coincide with the release ofStar Wars: The Force Awakens.
