Earlier today, the newGhostbusters themesong was released, entitled “I Ain’t Afraid,” byFall Out BoyandMissy Elliot. Given how divided many fans are about thisGhostbustersremake, it remains to be seen if this will be universally loved or hated when this reboot hits theaters on July 15. While we wait to see if it’s a huge hit or a colossal flop, we have four new TV spots from this reboot, which give us a new glimpse at Stay Puft, along with some interesting insight from Sony’s Tom Rothman.

Ever since it was revealed that there will be anall-femalecast, a vocal minority ofGhostbustersfans have expressed their displeasure with the casting all throughout the production. DirectorPaul Feighas even taken to Twitter several times to defend his movie and the cast, but during an interview withThe Hollywood Reporter, Sony Pictures chiefTom Rothmanthinks the hate is actually great. He also added that you could feel the “momentum” of the movie, particularly afterBill Murrayhad some positive things to say earlier this month after seeing the movie for the first time. Of course,Bill Murraywill be appearing in a cameo role alongside other originalGhostbustersstarsDan Aykroyd,Ernie HudsonandAnnie Potts. We’ll have to wait and see if that will be enough to appease the fans who don’t want to see an all-female cast, the same ones who made thefirst trailerthe most hated of all time on YouTube earlier this year.
