While Netflix isn’t one to let their viewership numbers out there for everyone and their mothers to gaze upon, it seems to be a pretty well-known fact thatThe Officestarring Steve Carell, Rainn Wilson, and John Krasinski is the streaming giant’s number one show for years now. Well, we’re sorry to report that this all comes to an end in 2021 as NBC announced Tuesday thatThe Officeis leaving Netflix. But don’t worry, you still have over a full year to get your fix. I don’t know about you, but I was watchingThe Officelast night on Netflix. It’s been a thing for years with me, but I’m just now getting my fiance into the joys ofJim and Pam and Michael and Dwight. One good-ish thing aboutThe Officeleaving Netflix is that maybe this new NBC streaming service will finally give us something that Netflix has never offered - the show’s deleted/extended scenes. As a massive fan of the series since it began airing, I own all of the seasons (other than season five) on DVD, and one of the best aspects of owningThe Officeon Blu-ray/DVD is the above mentioned deleted/extended scenes. Unlike most shows and movies, the deleted and extended scenes contained on any givenThe OfficeBlu-ray/DVD is classic content. Trust me. You want moreThe Office, but you’ve already burned through all nine seasons? Get your hands on all the deleted scenes - there are some for every single episode - and enjoy.
