On June 08, 2025, Variety reported that the show was renewed for a second season, which would be made up of ten episodes. And recently, a release date for Season 2 was announced by The Walt Disney Company. Once again, fans can watch the series on November 12, also known as Disney+ Day (via Laughing Place).

In particular, the first five episodes of Season 2 of the Jeff Goldblum show will come out on this exciting Friday, which will be a global celebration that includes new content such as:Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings, Jungle Cruise, Home Sweet Home AloneandOlaf Presents. This means Marvel fans won’t have to wait long to watchShang-Chiat home, even thoughit’s obliterating the box office now. According to Disney Media & Entertainment Distribution, there will also be an inaugural Disney+ Day fan celebration, with looks at what’s to come on the platform.

The first season ofThe World According to Jeff Goldblumshowed Goldblum exploring and educating viewers on jewelry, ice cream, video games, coffee, tattoos, denim, barbecue, sneakers, bikes, RVs, cosmetics and pools, and for this work, a Primetime Emmy Award nomination came for Outstanding Hosted Nonfiction Series or Special. One of the upcoming episodes appears to be focused on fireworks. On July 4, the Disney+ Twitter account wished everyone a happy Fourth of July by sharing a teaser that read “His spark is back.” The clip featured Goldblum oohing and ahhing over sparkler-type fireworks that formed an image of his face. He was also seen in a Disney+ tweet from September 22, which celebrated the first day of fall with a reminder about Disney+ Day.

“Jeff has captured the imagination and curiosity of our audience with his distinct perspective and illuminating adventures,” said Disney+’s president of content and marketing, Ricky Strauss. “We can’t wait to see where Jeff and our partners at National Geographic take us in season two.” While there are an array of National Geographic programs on Disney+,The World According to Jeff Goldblumwas the streaming service’s first original documentary series with the brand, and it was successful enoughto score a renewal.

“Jeff’s genuine curiosity in the world makes him a natural fit for the National Geographic brand,” said Courteney Monroe, who is the president of National Geographic Global Television Networks, via Variety. “There is something special and intangible about Jeff, and his fascination with the world is infectious. We’re thrilled to be able to share his humor and sensibilities to a broader audience on Disney+.”
