The drama withIt Ends With Uscontinues, but this time it comes from a very different source that doesn’t have a direct connection to the film. Former child star Alexa Nikolas saw the film recently, and she took to social media soon after to blast the movie for using a song from a band fronted by a man who allegedly abused and groomed Nikolas when she was just 16 years old.
The formerZoey 101actress took tosocial mediato not only slam the film’s roll-out, calling out Blake Lively in the process, but also for using music in the film performed by an alleged abuser. Nikolas says the singer abused and groomed her when he was 33, and she was 16. The actress makes it clear that this info is easy to obtain online, citing a public lawsuit, and seems upset that the creatives behindIt Ends With Usdidn’t do their due diligence before including the music. Nikolas references RHYE, a Canadian electronic band led by Mike Milosh, who was once married to Nikolas. There is a well-documented case against Milosh that made headlines.

Alexa Nikolas' Lawsuit Is Well Documented
Back in 2021, Nikolas sued Milosh, her ex-husband, for allegedlygrooming her for sexual assaultand abuse when she was 16 years old. Nikolas said that she was manipulated into marrying the musician back in 2012 when she was 19. Her lawsuit describes Milosh as a “libertine musician who preyed on the innocence of a minor fan to manipulate and coerce her into succumbing to his repeated sexual assaults of her.”
Ariana Grande Addresses Quiet on Set Allegations: ‘It Just All Happened So Quickly’
Ariana Grande starred on one of the biggest Nickelodeon shows spearheaded by Dan Schneider and was a big focus of the Quiet on Set documentary.
During that time, Nikolas chronicled the allegations on her Instagram, where she detailed how the pair met after she made contact with Milosh on MySpace when she was 16. The actress said that the conversations turned sexually explicit in nature, but they did not meet in person for another two years, until Nikolas turned 18. The Instagram posts detailing the alleged assault have since been deleted, but they were notably recounted in aRolling Stonearticle. Milosh would go on to call the allegations"absurd and outrageous false claims."

Milosh went on to file amalicious prosecution lawsuitagainst Nikolas' lawyers, calling her lawsuit"frivolous"and saying it"lacked any legal basis.“The RHYE singer had his case stricken from the court in early 2023 after an anti-SLAPP motion was filed by Nikolas' lawyers. An anti-SLAPP (Strategic Lawsuit Against Public Participation) motion is a request by a defendant to have a lawsuit dismissed on the grounds that it seeks to interfere with the defendant’s right to exercise free speech.
Nikolas ultimately dropped her case in 2022, but Milosh went forward with hismalicious prosecution caseafter the actress dropped her suit. The singer’s countersuit for damages was ultimately dismissed by a Los Angeles court, and although Nikolas said that she would be refiling her case, no such actions have taken place as of this writing.
Nikolas is no stranger to speaking out against abuse. Although she is a YouTuber now, she began her life as a child actor, best known for playing Nicole Bristow on Nickelodeon’sZoey 101. Nikolas ultimately retired from acting and founded a movement calledEat Predators, whose primary goal is to end predatory behavior in the entertainment industry and point to unsafe working environments for children in that field, particularly protecting kids from child predators at Nickelodeon. The actress was featured in the Investigation Discovery documentaryQuiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV, where she spoke about her time at Nickelodeon and her interactions withDan Schneider, a producer and showrunner on various Nickelodeon series who allegedly fostered a toxic and unsafe work environment for children and young adults on his shows.
